As a rule, developers don’t usually increase the prices in May, on the threshold of summer season. But this year almost half of Kharkiv companies put up their prices for the housing even at the last month of spring. It should be noted that the last time when the prices went up in May was three years ago, when the feverish demand was observed at the real estate market. Today, though, the level of the demand for the new-built housing is quite different, but the prices have still gone up. According to the data of the Avantazh Marketing Department, in May 44% of the developers raised the prices, 43% remained it to be the same and only 13% of the companies leveled their prices down. So, the square meter in the new apartment building in May cost the following: $1627 for the premium class, $1140 for the business class and $715 for the economy class.
