Anyone involved in the interviewing process knows how time intensive and costly screening candidates can be. Companies looking to cut down on phone screens and second interviews are turning to online video interviews that can be databased for future review. The use of ondemand virtual video interviews to screen candidates or live video interview between the candidate and hiring manager(s) is helping some companies save time and money. One of the ways to save money is on the reduction of travel costs, secondary (or primary benefit, depending on your view) is that online interviewing is “green,” helps candidate and employer reduce carbon footprint.
