Inspired by 60's pop influences, Ryan Ross and Jon Walker decided that they would throw away their pop/emo theatrics that defined them in Panic! at The Disco and strip themselves down to a raw, classic rock sound. During the recording of their second album in Panic! Ross and Walker began writing together, taking in influences one would not have expected. They split from Panic! in late July of last year, focusing on their new project, The Young Veins. Drawing influences from The Kinks, The Byrds, and The Beatles, these guys are letting go of their days of tour buses and glam lifestyle to riding around in their tour van, selling their own merchandise.
