A motorist struggles to come to terms with his past after picking up a hitchhiker who claims to know the future...
Since premiering in Los Angeles in 2008, Detour has won the Festival Trophy for Best Short Film at Screamfest LA, was nominated for the HBO Short Film Award and has been officially selected to screen at festivals in London, Mexico, Berlin and New York.
The film was co-written by George Hopkin and Kodjo Akeseh Tsakpo and based on an original idea by George. The film was made under the Digital Shorts Plus scheme with support from South West Screen and the UK Film Council.
