Lady Gaga has revealed that she was going to perform with Michael Jackson on his This Is It tour.

The King of Pop died just weeks before the tour was due to start at London's O2 Arena in July 2009, after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Speaking with US talk show host Larry King, Gaga said: I was actually asked to open for Michael on his tour. We were going to open for him at the O2 and we were working on making it happen.

The singer also went on to reveal that she has tested borderline positive for Lupus, a very serious condition where the immune system attacks the body.

The disease runs in her family and killed her aunt.

She told King: As of right now I don't have it, but I have to take good care of myself.

Gaga is currently touring in the UK.
