Harry Potter actress Emma Watson said starring in the magical movies has made her "the luckiest girl in the world."

"None of us predicted this kind of love and recognition, it's just incredible. I'm so unbelieveable proud to have been a part of this," said the British star, 20, who plays Hermione in the film franchise.

The cast and crew of the hit series are currently putting the finishing touches to the final feature, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

"We're filming in London this week," explained producer David Heyman.

"In just over two weeks time it'll all be finished. It's a very strange feeling as it'll have been ten years together," he added.

Based on the books by JK Rowling, the film franchise is the highest grossing series of all time, with takings of more than $5.4 billion worldwide.

The first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is due to be released in November, with the second instalment out in July next year.
