Roger not only gave us Give a Little Bit, but also other classics such as Dreamer, Take the Long Way Home, Breakfast in America, The Logical Song, Hide in Your Shell, Fool's Overture, School, It's Raining Again, and so very many more. Many people do not realize that although Roger and Supertramp's other co-founder shared writing credit, they actually wrote and composed separately with each singing their own respective songs.

Supertramp as a band never wrote and composed together. There were only two songwriters for the band. The songs Roger sings lead vocals on are the ones he composed the music and lyrics for, and the songs Rick sings lead vocals on are the ones that he wrote.

I have to say hands down prefer to hear Roger do his own songs. Do you agree? Please go to TheDubbin’s channel and let’s discuss this.

I think this is one of the most well known and loved songs ever written. Roger brings a freshness to it each time I have heard him sing it. I like it even more now than when Supertramp did the song way back when. It's beautiful too how Roger lets his message of giving come through the song to help so many when the Tsunami and Katrina disasters happened. I know he helped a lot of people through his music. God Bless you Roger.
