What a treat to hear this wonderful radio transcript, in very good sound quality too :-)

Amazing that they had to foresight to record those radio broadcasts. I'm still waiting for someone to get lucky and find some lost wire recordings of the Paul Whiteman "Old Gold" broadcasts, circa late 20s. Don't think they yet had tapes. I agree with ML that some of the newer DM commercials are actually decent, though after the 3rd or 4th viewing they get old. That Verizon guy is good, especially if he bumps into the hapless cable guy.

Gigi, someone asked for more Anson Weeks but I forgot who so that I could send it to them.I have a better song by him for tonight. If anyone wants to hear an example of the Anson Weeks Orch in the late 1950s,let me know.

It looks like Gilbert Roland to me,but it's actually Ramon Navarro. Those commercials are so irritating. At first you could delete(X) them, now we have to suffer through them.I'm keeping the door open but uploading a lot less on DM.
