Kent James, also known as Nick Name, has finally released a video for his 2001 punk anthem "I Fucked Your Boyfriend." Formerly the frontman for the gay punk band Nick Name and the Normals, James has been making headway with a solo career, including the 2007 release of a "best of" compilation album "Kent James: Decade Of Dirt (1997-2007)" which became the top-selling album in the Metal/Punk: Queercore genre. Once a mormon, James is now the usually shirtless, confrontational, and sexy singer who has been dubbed "the gay Henry Rollins" and "the most masculine man in gay culture." In this new video for his 2001 song, the singer is unapologetic and angry. This would have to be the very dark flip side of Gloria Gaynor's ode to post-break-up inner strength "I Will Survive" (is that a new mash-up I hear?).
