It’s the Settlements, Stupid
There’s nothing more dangerous than a politically weak Israeli Prime Minister. Amid mounting criticism of his performance during Israel’s war on Lebanon, PM Ehud Olmert has announced plans to construct 700 new settlements in the West Bank. The plan follows a destructive, but sadly predictable, pattern—as does the US response. Repeating the behavior of his predecessors, like former premiers Shimon Peres (remember the first Qana?) and Ehud Barak, Olmert apparently hopes to use settlements to placate the country’s insatiable right wing. The US response? Sadly predictable and inadequate. “The U.S. position hasn’t changed: the Israeli government shouldn’t expand the settlements,” said a State Department spokesman.

-on the article, I'd have to say an Israeli Prime Minister is more dangerous than a weak one.

There are many Rabbis attacked for their goal of ending the almost 60 year occupation of Palestine, a holy land to Jewish, Christian, and Muslim Arabs for centuries and since the dawn of time. Jews against Zionism want their voice heard, they feel a sense of duty to get the word out to the whole world that has sat silent to the Palestinian pain and torture over the past five decades. Jews who lost someone to the Nazi empire's genocide are not in favor of doing what they demand "never again" to happen to other people, and hope all Zionists will end this cruelty and demand a one-state or three-state one country solution. Tear down the wall, that silly wall is not going to help things get better soon, it is just a big mistake on top of a bigger mistake. End the Occupation of Palestine, peace in the middle east, for everyone and all to worship freely in peace. It is possible!
