After several weeks of waxing fantastic on Brian Wood's (no relation) Channel Zero's stark graphic novel we decided to put the inspiration to work. The idea of being watched in a world that isn't purely black and white makes for an entirely new sense of anxiousness that feels closer to claustrophobia. Imagine a world where your walls weren't solid. That the figure standing outside your window might be a reflection? This piece is about casting the esoteric in a dark shade of gray where values and intent blur. We have a name for people who like to watch and those who like to be watched. They're called voyeurs and exhibitionists. But the relationship between the two is ironically quite intimate.
