Cheryl Cole is apparently being lined up to star in a Disney TV movie.

She has shot to success stateside with the video for her new single Parachute drawing plaudits for her dancing and singing abilities.

Disney has had a renaissance in recent years through tween movies like Camp Rock and High School Musical and execs are reportedly keen to take advantage of Cheryl's growing stateside fame.

Her collaboration with Will.i.am on single 3 Words, as well as partnering Dancing with the Stars' Derek Hough in the Parachutes video, has helped propel Cole to US stardom.

She will apparently be returning to The X Factor in the Autumn but Simon Cowell is also keen to get her involved with the first series of the US version as well.
