A new batch of contestants are ready to take the UK by storm with the return of Britain's Got Talent, and leading the way is camp comedy act Kevin Cruise.

The entertainer is already proving a huge hit with fans after debuting on the first episode of the new series.

The fourth season of the talent show returned at the weekend to record viewing figures. The first episode drew a peak audience of 12.2 million viewers.

Kevin Cruise was just one of the acts who went onto the next stage after the first round of auditions. He got through with two votes after failing to impress Simon Cowell.

The hopeful is promising to win the BGT boss over, if he makes it to the live shows. He said: "I will go out and out, I've got many, many ideas."
