Juan leaves Mexico to visit his estranged son in Canada and to meet his grandson for the first time. They have no idea he is coming to visit. When he arrives, Juan finds out his grandson is being brought up Jewish and doesn’t even speak Spanish. Juan attempts to teach his grandson about his Mexican heritage.
