A quiche is a good thing to know how to make. You can eat it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It’s great to serve for friends and family or quick to heat up when you’re alone.   Hungry Nation's 'Tamra Davis Cooking Show' features great recipes for cooking delicious meals and food for your family.  Tamra is a real Mom cooking real food.  New episodes every Thursday.   Hungry Nation Website:  http://www.HungryNation.tv Recipes:  http://www.TamraDavisCookingShow.com Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/HungryNation Recipe:   Quiche with Red Chard, Dried Cranberries, Pine Nuts and Goat Cheese aka “Easy Quiche” (for 6)   Pie Crust* (for 1 crust – double for 2)   1 stick of butter softened 1 1/2 cup of flour 1 tablespoon of sugar (omit for a savory pie) pinch of salt ¼ cup of ice water   Put the butter, flour, sugar and salt into the Cuisinart. Mix and then slowly add the water. Blend until it forms a dough. Roll into a ball and then wrap it up in wax paper or plastic and put it in the refrigerator while you make the filling. (around 20 minutes) *you can always use a store bought brand. Just watch out for too many bad ingredients.   Easy Quiche 1 pie crust 3 eggs 1 cup of milk 1 – 1½ cups of cheese (jack, cheddar, goat…) Optional – 1 cup of whatever else you want to add (broccoli, Fakin Bacon, cauliflower, zucchini, red pepper, spinach…)   Blend milk and eggs and pour into the pie shell. Add cheese and optional ingredients. Bake at 375 for 30-40 minutes or until firm.   Quiche with Red Chard, Dried Cherries, Pine Nuts and Goat Cheese (for 4 – 6) 1 pie crust – 3 eggs 1 cup of milk 8 ounces of goat cheese 1 cup red chard cooked and chopped ¼ cup of dried cranberries or dried cherries ½ cup of pine nuts toasted Salt and pepper   Preheat oven to 375. Cook your chard in a small amount of water. Strain and chop. Toast your pine nuts with a pinch of salt in a frying pan. Mix together your eggs, milk, cheese (either shred it or crumble the goat cheese) ...
