Rupert Grint insists surprises are in store for fans of Harry Potter.

The actor, who plays Ron Weasley in the movie franchise, said changes are afoot in the next instalment The Deathly Hallows. "It is going to be a very different kind of film," revealed Rupert.

Six Potter films, based on the novels by JK Rowling, have been released so far. The final story has been split into two features which are currently being filmed back to back.

Rupert, 21, is keeping tight lipped about the production and would only say that shooting ends in June.

The Brit actor, who has worked on the Potter pictures since 2001, confessed he is now ready to sink his teeth into something new.

"I think if there was another one I would have a long think about doing it. It has been a long time and I am ready to move on," said Rupert.

The magical movies have made household names of Rupert and co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.

Rupert said: "We have been through a lot together. That goes for all the cast. We are a close family. It is a great atmosphere on set. It will be weird when we're saying goodbye to each other."

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part I is expected to be released in November with the second part due for release in the summer of 2011.
