Shen Yun Performing Arts presented ten shows in Taipei last week. An academic scholar saw one of the shows and expressed awe at the beauty of Chinese culture portrayed in Shen Yun.

The National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall was the place to see Shen Yun in Taipei this year.

University professor Chiou Jun-rong was very impressed by the richness and diversity of Chinese culture in Shen Yun's show.

[Professor Chiou Jun-rong, Deputy Head of National Central University]:
“I feel the very rich essence of Chinese culture can be truly presented and portrayed by Shen Yun. I very much liked the last dance in the first half… it was the Tibetan dance in which you could see the masculinity of the men, and the gentle softness of the women. It was very well coordinated.”

He says the colors on stage reminded him of a beautiful season.

[Professor Chiou Jun-rong, Deputy Head of National Central University]:
“I think the coordination of colors was very lively and bright. It could convey the special qualities of each dance -- such as the lively colors of the Miao Ethnic dance -- in simple terms, it reminds me of the bright colors of spring.”

Professor Chiou Jun-rong hopes that Shen Yun can perform in mainland China one day.

[Professor Chiou Jun-rong, Deputy Head of National Central University]:
“To see a better expression of culture on our own land of China, this is what I wish to see the most in the future. To see a dance performance of this caliber in mainland China is what I most hope for in my heart.”
