India is the biggest recipient of British aid. £2 billion will have been given by 2011 through the Department of International Development (DFID). This is the second in a series of short films about the DFID in India, shot by Eshwarappa M and Richard Whittell. In ’A DFID Education’, we see how DFID funded programmes have contributed to the decline of public education in India. See for an introduction to the series and links to the accompanying interviews and films. Voiceover by Joanna Christie Music by Tom Rogerson
