Over the Rainbow - New BBC talent search

One of the world's most enchanting musicals is coming to the West End.


Andrew Lloyd Webber and host Graham Norton are reuniting for Over the Rainbow - the TV show in search of the next Dorothy for the stage version of The Wizard of Oz.


The hopefuls will be judged by a panel of experts including Charlottle Church, John Partridge and actress Sheila Hancock and then voted upon by the public.


Graham Norton said: "I think what is interesting about these girls is that they have grown up watching these shows, and now you look at everything that has happened since we started these show, High School Musical, Glee, musical are sexy again."


This is the fourth BBC series for the Oscar and Tony award winning Webber.


Graham Norton said: "He is extraordinary, I am such a big fan of the man."


Over the Rainbow starts Friday March 26 2010 at 9pm on BBC One.
