Eleven people were killed Monday and over sixty wounded in a suicide car bomb that devastated the building of anti-terrorist police in Lahore in eastern Pakistan
Pakistan is experiencing a wave of deadly attacks Taliban linked to Al Qaeda, which claimed over 3,000 lives in two and a half years.
Pakistani television channels were broadcasting live images of a crowd of men searching the rubble of a building collapsed amid ballet ambulance.
"The explosion occurred near (...) the building of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the Criminal Police, and we are trying to determine the nature and number of victims" said Mohammad Riaz, a police officer in this city of nearly 10 million inhabitants.
"There was a powerful explosion near the offices of the criminal police and a religious school, confirmed to AFP Mohammad Irfan, another police officer.
