Strawberry Fair 2002
We follow the annual Strawberry Fair parade of Saturday the 1st of June 2002.
A samba band, a Chinese Dragon and a troupe of dedicated and creative community artists of all ages, make up the parade.
The pageant starts from Midsummer Common at midday and winds its musical way through the centre of Cambridge, back to Midsummer Common.
Its arrival back at Midsummer Common marks the official opening of Strawberry Fair, one of Europe’s largest, annual, community, not-for-profit, voluntary run, festivals of music and art.
The film was shot on Kodachrome Super 8.
