Apple's iPod Shuffle (2nd generation) has gone through a complete redesign, and looks great. It's surprisingly small and at the same time the quality of construction is amazing. It just feels like it was made well. The controls are small, but they are easy to use and have a nice feel to them. There is a clip built onto the back so you can easily clip it to a belt, shirt, or wherever you want. The iPod Shuffle is missing a USB port, and instead you must use the included docking station to connect it to your computer to transfer music or to charge the battery. This is an inconvenient way to charge a battery, especially while on the road. Priced at a reasonable $79 for the 1 gigabyte model the Apple iPod Shuffle might be your MP3 player of choice.
