Description: Bed bugs are commonly mistaken for other bugs that are in the same family, which would be the Cimicidae family and other closely related ones. They are frequently confused with Cimex adjunctus, which are bat bugs. They are also repeatedly confused with Cimexopsis SPP, which are chimney swift insects. The Swallow bug, Oeciacus SPP is also confused with bed bugs quite often.
