Caught on Camera: Tornado Tears up Cornfield in Australia

A family in north Queensland, Australia filmed a tornado ripping through their farm field on Wednesday destroying crops and irrigation pipes in its path.

The Gallo family started filming after they noticed a strange formation in the clouds.

Things got a bit scary when the whirling devastator moved in their direction.

The tornado created a 16-foot wide path on its way to the cornfield and destroyed a canalization infrastructure and other elements.

Tractor tires and pipes that were torn apart by the tornado were moved more than 300 feet.

Family members say they’ve never seen anything like this before.
