Shen Yun Performing Arts continues to tour around the world today. Next, a former dance professor in Hollywood gives his impressions of the show after seeing it in the world's movie capital.

Tickets to Shen Yun Performing Arts for former ballet and Broadway dancer George Reeder were a Christmas gift.

[George Reeder, Inland Pacific Ballet Trustee]:
“I’ve done a lot of shows, and choreographed, and movies and TV and all that, Broadway. And I know how difficult that is. And to get that many people doing the leaps in synch and so on, exactly together is pretty amazing. They’re very, very good.”

Shen Yun’s orchestra also made a deep impression on him.

[George Reeder, Inland Pacific Ballet Trustee]:
“It’s very, very good, and the colors are just magnificent. And I love the stuff in the back, instead of drops and all that, the pictures. And the even move. It’s wonderful. A very nice experience.”

George Reeder is a former professor of dance. He says he appreciates the efforts of Shen Yun’s male dancers, in particular.

[George Reeder, Inland Pacific Ballet Trustee]:
“Well there’s skill and endurance. All the leaps and stuff. The men. The women are so beautiful and with very flowing. And the men really go at it, and I appreciate that even more, because that’s what I had to do.”

Shen Yun is performing ten shows in Los Angeles, and will be at Radio City Music Hall in New York beginning this weekend for a seven show run.
