But now the country wants to boost its share of the multi-million-dollar international film industry.With support from the government,an entrepreneur is building a studio complex in Cape Town. Wages and material costs are relatively low in South Africa,so the hope is that major producers and studio bosses in Europe and the United States will start carrying out entire productions there.
