BB, it seems the average programming quality no longer is what it used to be...

The tempo was probably intentional to get as many bars as possible onto the HOW record. I used to watch "The Bell Telephone Hour" but am having trouble remembering Vorhees. As I recall it was an upscale show that presented "fine" music. Now we have to go to PBS for such programming. *****

Muscleco, indeed by the mid-20's the tuba was gradually dying out as a standard instrument.

Shame they ditched the tuba completely for the string bass.
Not to mention the bass sex. Must see if I can buy one.

Genia, I guess the way we all handle lost loves is very personal and different. but probably both aproaches may be appropriate, depending on the situation! Musically i'll see what would be fine for the occasion.
