12/29 Korean Valeo workers protest rally

On 26 October 2009, Workers at Valeo Compressor Korea (VCK) were told they would be fired en masse and their factory liquidated. In the freezing cold winter the Korean workers continue their protest to pressure Valeo Group to adhere to corporate social responsibility, withdraw the illegitimate closure of the VCK plant , demand normalization of operations, do not push the livelihoods of 500 family members and workers into precarity and for Valeo Group to step up to direct negotiatons with the union.
