Fishbone at Hen House Studios - Critical TImes
  • 14 years ago
http://henhousestudios.com/ In 2001, the legendary, influential and voraciously eclectic band Fishbone arrived to record their newest material at the Henhouse, a free community recording studio. The only rule: leave your shoes at the door. The film centers primarily on the creation and recording of the songs in the studio - giving a privileged viewpoint as if one were a member of the band. Band documentaries may come and go - but this is Fishbone. Way up close. Hen House Studios is a record label and documentary film company in Venice, California. First made famous by their unique concept to record musicians for free in exchange for the right to film them, Hen House has grown to a premiere, web based multi media company featuring music videos, CDs, DVDs, and podcasts all produced by the studio.
