Camden-Rockport Historical Society's first in a series of six talks on Maine Living.
As a Native American poet (Abenaki), one of my greatest joys is mixing my rich cultural heritage with my writing. I do believe that this mix of writing and culture is natural and unavoidable. I write not AS a native person, but FROM the native person’s world view. Many of my poems contain the original language of my people. In this way I feel I am keeping the tribe alive. with Q&A after the talkhttp://www.heartsoundspressliterary.com/Pulse_Literary_Journal/Welcome.html
