Viva con Agua Tramprennen | Hitchhike Race (part 3/3)

  • vor 14 Jahren
part 3/3 In summer 2009 34 people organized in 14 teams hitchhiked from Kiel [D] to Dubrovnik [HR]. The 2300km long trip was a 6-stage hitchhike race. Apart from the obvious fun of hitchhiking, it was meant to promote the Hamburg-based drinkwater initiative "Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli" which drills wells in places where clean potable water is not an easily available resource.

During Tramprennen 2009 the teams passed through Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovenia,
Bosnia-Hercegovina & Croatia, spreading thousands of information flyers, giving interviews to
different German radio stations from the states of Hamburg, Berlin and Schleswig-Holstein and flashmobbed the city center of Linz [A].

This film is an attempt to sum up the two week journey. The camera was given to a different team every stage, hence the diverse perspectives and pictures. We'd like to further support Viva con Agua, spread its name and last but not least promote and spread the beauty and fun of hitchhiking.
