The USAT Liberty was a 130m long cargo boat transporting train rails from Australia to the Philippines. On january 12, 1942, a japanese submarine torpedoes the ship. Two US destroyers attempt to tow the boat to the nearest port. Due to the overwhelming leaks, the boat is beached in the east of Bali island. In 1963, the Agung volcanoes erupts and a lava flows pushes the ship back into the sea.
