Our Expatriate Issue features an extensive interview with Daft Punk, the electronic duo who hail from France, yet live part time in Los Angeles. Instead of renting a photo studio for the cover shot, photographer David Black invited the group to the Hollywood Hills, brought some smoke bombs and lit stuff on fire.
