This product integrates a hardware control system with a software dashboard to monitor and control the energy consumed in a house (or any building for that matter). The dashboard is built on Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and uses an SQL Server Database for persistent storage. The WPF app communicates with a microcontroller through serial communication. There is also an SMS gateway that allows users to remotely monitor and control devices from their phones via SMS. In addition a Windows Mobile application can be used on a phone for a better interface to communicate with the system.
