As an experimental project - fusing music video and media art - our concept for Soap&Skin's Thanatos at first resembles an art installation:

Initially the viewer is confronted with the image of an LCD monitor, set to a dark background, playing a
video. As the music video progresses, however, one realizes that this video is only the foundation of a
complex system of images containing multiple visual layers and impulses: On a series of panes of
glass that are positioned in front of the monitor new visual layers unfold corresponding to the footage
shown on the monitor - tracing, distorting and completing it.
