Scooter - Hyper Hyper
Scooter est un groupe de techno allemand, pratiquant beaucoup de genres allant de la Trance au Happy hardcore, même s'ils sont catalogués dans la catégorie Eurodance. Ils ont remporté plusieurs dizaines de disques d'or et sont très connus entre autres pour leurs titres en voix pitchée.
Anciennement dans le groupe "Celebrate the Nun", deux des membres ont progressivement monté ce groupe sortant au début de l'année 1994 le single "Vallée de larmes". Ils sortent en été 1994 le single "Hyper Hyper", composition techno rendant hommage aux grands Dj internationaux. Ce titre fait un carton dans toute l'Europe. Ensuite tout s'est enchainé, les singles et albums sortirent comme des petits pains et le groupe a maintenant 10 ans d'age.
Leurs compositions contiennent souvent des voix féminines accelérées (Friends, Nessaja,..), des éléments de titres connus (Suavemente, Shake That, Ramp,..), et pratiquement toutes utilisent des samples du groupe KLF, auquel H.P. Baxxter, le chanteur et leader du groupe depuis ses débuts, voue une grande admiration.
