Shane Douglas is one of the most controversial figures in professional wrestling, seemingly burning his bridges with every person he's ever met. His most famous moment was when he threw down the NWA World title, in favour of the then-Eastern Championship Wrestling title and declaring it the ECW WORLD title. He also had the shortest Intercontinental title reign in WWE history after beating Shawn Michaels by forfeit and dropping the belt to Razor Ramon ten minutes later. In his career, he has been a 4-time ECW Champion, ECW TV Champion, 2-time WCW Tag Champion, WCW US Champion and an XPW and MLW Champion. He has also been a promoter, having run the ECW nostalgia promotions, Hardcore Homecoming and Extreme Reunion. He is currently a motivational speaker and in the process of authoring his first book.
