WW2 Enigma Codebreaker Alan Turing Chemically Castrated
During WW2 a key British Enigma codebreaker Alan Turing was found guilty of homosexuality, and offered a jail sentence or chemical castration. He was never recognized for his work, and now a campaign is underway to get an apology from Government and to elevate Turing to hero status.
