"Shazam!" In this fourth season episode of "Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C.", entitled "Love and Goulash", Donna Loren plays Anna Kovach, a young Hungarian girl in love with a boy her family disapproves of. Gomer (Jim Nabors) becomes involved in the family feud when he spends the weekend with them upon an invitation from his friend Leo Kovach, Anna's brother (Burt Taylor). In this clip, boyfriend Paul (Janos Czingula) is attempting to sneak into Anna's room, but Gomer is sleeping in her room for the night. Then the plot thickens...Some Donna Trivia: She felt that the role of Anna in this scene gave her an opportunity to stretch her comedic chops and that Jim Nabors was a joy to work with. Oscar Beregi (Anna's father) surprised her with an off-screen hypnosis trick. This was one of her last roles prior to retiring from show business to raise a family.
