On occasion of its 35th anniversary SIRE, the Dutch foundation for public service advertising, published a youth survey. Preluding this publication a teaser campaign consisting of six graphic commercials made by Koeweiden Postma was aired on Dutch television. The objective of the SIRE-campaign was to determine what young people considered to be the biggest social issues of the moment. For the commercials Koeweiden Postma decided to represent these issues by songs of well-known Dutch rappers. Their lyrics, animated in different typographical manners, are slung into the face of the viewer, as it were. Each commercial ends with the image of a youth together with the campaign slogan: "Young people saying it straight".
