hardcore rave 1996

The hardcore scene was nice and toasty in the mid-90's and Im glad I was part of it really. The funniest part was one night, R.A.W. was on the flyer and all the hardcore heads were there just for him and all of a sudden, he started spinning jungle. Everyone FLIPPED! R.A.W. was pretty much at the helm of the hardcore scene in L.A. in the 90's, respected, admired and maybe even loved but when he made the switch from hardcore to jungle, he lost his following but gained a new one. If you notice on that video, everyone is raising their hands, bangin their arms against the speakers, huddled up, jumping, moshing together, entranced with the music and that was what hardcore was all about back then...slowly but surely, it changed.
