Five fatal stabbings have taken place in Edmonton this year.
Youth violent crime has now been declared Scotland Yard’s number one priority. Five fatal stabbings took place in Edmonton, north London, from January to mid-March 2008, four of them teenagers, earning the area the nickname “Shanktown.
