Spandau Ballet - True

Spandau Ballet est un groupe de rock britannique formé en 1979 à Londres. Leur premier nom était The Makers, le nom définitif viendra d'un graffiti aperçu à Berlin (dont Spandau est un quartier) par un roadie.

Leur premier titre, To Cut A Long Story Short, est un succès immédiat dans le style pop synthétique.

Fin 1984, ils joueront sur l'album Band Aid, et participeront même au concert du Live Aid à Wembley.

Ils feront un autre succès notable avec Through The Barricades en 1986. Le groupe se séparera en 1989 après l'échec de Heart like a Sky.
