In this video clip the deaf actor Horst Dittrich rehearses in Austrian Sign Language the poem "The Weather Van" translated by himself into Sign Language like visual music. And Horst Dittrich explains how difficult it was for him as a deaf person to get education. There was no use of Sign Language (unbelievable). And he wants to have much more subtitles on TV. The poem "The Weather Vane" is part of the famous song cycle written by Wilhelm Müller and composed by Franz Schubert in a production of ARBOS-Company for Music & Theatre (Austria) combining visual music in Sign Language and the music of Franz Schubert as a performance for deaf and hearing audience.
