From the Spring of 1968, the Delfonics deliver what has become an all time Pop/R&B Classic....."La La (Means I Love You)". Written by Thom Bell and William Hart this song is a solid reminder of an era of simple but extremely brilliant love songs and soulful singing. Hailing from Philadelphia, These are the original Delfonics at the time of this recording and performance consisted of William Hart, Wilbert Hart and Randy Cain. These guys were some of BEST of the male singing groups during their era of roughly 1967- 71, scoring multiple hits that are still very popular today. This clip from 1968 is a little rough (it is very old, no offense fellas LOL) but it gives you a little taste of just how great Poogie and them were. Give a listen.
