After months of political wrangling, President Joe Biden signed a much-delayed bill to support Ukraine as it struggles to hold back Russian advances. However, officials in the Biden administration are skeptical if the $61 billion in aid for Ukraine is enough for Kyiv to win the war against Russia. Battlefield dynamics have shifted a lot in the last few months as Ukraine’s outgunned forces struggle to hold back Russian advances, according to US officials quoted by Politico. Garret Martin, of the American University School of International Service in Washington, said the delay by US lawmakers in passing the aid package "had a cost."
"The aid can shore up Ukraine but it's not a magic wand that could fix all the challenges they face," Martin said.
