Russia paid MEPs 'to promote Russian propaganda': Belgian PM

Following a question from a Belgian lawmaker about foreign interference in the elections, Prime Minister Alexander De Croo says that an investigation has found that Russia had paid MEPs to promote out Kremlin propaganda. The Czech Republic said on Wednesday its spies discovered a Russia-financed network wielding influence across Europe and involving EU lawmakers had been spreading Russian propaganda through the Prague-based Voice of Europe news site.
