AmaZulu: The Children of Heaven tells the stories of seven children studying at a township school in South Africa.
Their stories, both in and out of school interweave to form a narrative of a community and its children determined that they not be slaves to their background.
Infused with the singing of 1200 school children AmaZulu looks at the lives of young people striving to transcend their backgrounds and achieve what could now be theirs in the new South Africa.
