You might look at LeBron James and Jae Crowder and conclude they'd never have beef because they're in different tiers of the league. But that's not how the story plays out-- actually maybe it's becuase of their status differential that the beef existed.

Crowder could challenge LeBron. On several occasions. In the post season. Which is kinda embarrassing for LeBron.

Now, Crowder accomplished that by being really physical-- which I can't see LeBron enjoying. And apparently when LeBron gets mad, he gets a little vengeful. Which is where the beef comes in
