Virgil van Dijk filmed Liverpool's mad celebrations on a camera phone after their late goal at Nottingham Forest.

Jurgen Klopp's men looked destined to drop a crucial two points in the title race until Darwin Nunez came off the bench to score a 99th-minute winner.

The win at the City Ground ensured the Reds extended their lead at the summit of the Premier League table to four points ahead of Manchester City and Arsenal's matches this matchday, respectively.

Nunez's header sparked frenzied celebrations from the Liverpool camp and it was covered by a phone camera on the pitchside.

Reds supporters could not contain their joy and neither could captain Virgil van Dijk who picked up the phone before screaming 'come on'.

Klopp also had an epic reaction to the Nunez goal after Forest supporters sang 'You're just an Andy Carroll,' as he was about to come on the pitch.

After the game, the Liverpool boss said: 'I would not sing a song like that. I would not try to wind Darwin up!'

The German manager, who is leaving Anfield at the end of the season, added: 'People should start singing that song 'Andy Carroll' more often!'

Klopp revealed that he understood the reference, and believed that Nunez also knew what the chant meant.

It meant Liverpool secured a trio of wins in three competitions across a week, after winning the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, and beating Southampton in the FA Cup on Wednesday night.

Liverpool travel to Sparta Prague in the Europa League on Thursday evening, before a home game against title rivals Manchester City on March 10.
